About Pete Rossi AKA Peat Loaf
Established in 1993 and acclaimed by Meat Loaf himself to be the best tribute in the business, Peat Loaf is well known throughout Europe as The Meat Loaf tribute act. Now once again based in the UK after 7 very successful years performing in the top venues in Benidorm, Pete has reformed his band and is available throughout the UK with a 7 piece 100% live outfit performing a mind blowing 2 hour plus set featuring all Meat’s classics and a few new ones. Peat Loaf is also available as a duo show which runs for one hour 25 minutes. Peat Loaf can cater for any event or occasion big or small.
During his time in Benidorm Pete must on a bad week have played to over 1000 people from all over the UK. Pete says "I reckon over the 7 years I was there I must have performed to well on half a million holiday makers. I really need a new challenge now as I am hard working (I was performing around 572 shows a year) and very much a perfectionist but I am not able to achieve that in Spain anymore.”
Pete has met Meat Loaf four times to date and some years ago Meat gave an interview to The Sun newspaper where he said he wanted Pete to play the part of him in the movie about his life "To Hell And Back”.
In the last couple of years Pete has become the UK's Official Number One Meat Loaf Tribute Act after winning the UK National Tribute Awards awarded by the Agents Association of Great Britain. In 2014 Pete became the first tribute act to make it through to the live semi finals of Britain's Got Talent performing live to 16 million viewers.
